Our harbor attracts yachts from the world over and our coastal heritage of marine craftsman make it a great place to stay for repairs, provisioning or musing over the next build. We have so many incredibly talented designers and yards to collaborate with. In fact, we have been connected to our local service yard, Wayfarer Marine, from the beginning.
Our success has been tied directly to the waterfront here in Camden and our relationship with Wayfarer Marine has been a significant resource in connecting with passionate yacht enthusiasts.
Robert Eddy has been a fixture on the docks of the Camden waterfront for his entire career. The display of his early models at the Wayfarer Marine Store in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s (Roberts high school years) often created further interest and precipitated further commissioned works.
Looking back on the last 50 years of our model building career, now more than ever, we recognize how important our working waterfront has been for our career and we embrace the strength that Lyman-Morse at Wayfarer Marine is giving to our community.
